Does anyone here make their own holiday cards? I usually do, and I need to get started this year! I always find myself about two weeks from Christmas or New Year's trying desperately to finish them in time to mail them out. :)

This year I'm considering doing paper cutting instead of stamping...

Ooh, paper cutting is fun!

The past two years I've bought all the supplies I needed to execute my stupidly elaborate card ideas (sequins sewn to paper one year and a lino block reduction print the next) and then bagged it when I ran out of time. Does that count?

I guess I could try to do either of those again this year since I still have all the stuff.

That sounds suspiciously like me... I seem to like buying the supplies more than the actual execution of the project.

I've made a pact that this year I won't buy any more supplies. I need to use up what I have!

Last year I made cards with cut-outs on the front. They looked great but took me weeks, plus my eyes and hand still hurt in January. This year, I'm doing something much simpler - I'm going to hack the idea below and make photo cards. My plan is to find a retro holiday party (like the Mad Men office party, but an actual old photo) background and take pictures of my husband and myself dancing in 60's clothes and crop those in. And of course, I'll put my cats in the corner. Does anyone know where I can get cheap photo post cards made?
