Vegan Cooking Show Out of the Mini-Apple
Minneapolis that is. Rhymes With Vegan is the baby bundt cake of Meagan Holtgrewe. Follow her from garden to grill as she prepares yummy kebabs and scrumptious edamame. I love this show because it has fun, professional looking editing and a cool not-too-crunchy soundtrack. Plus, Meagan has some pretty obvious knife skills and it’s always fun to watch vegans wielding weapons.

Meagan catered a reading — for free! as a friendly gesture! — that a local animal rights group organized for some vegan/AR authors who happened to be in Minneapolis for a conference. The grub was great and Meagan turned out to be surprisingly modest for somebody who stars in her own show, conveniently disappearing when it was time to applaud and thank the chef. We didn’t get to see a demo of the knife skills, though.

OMG! thank you soooo much for posting this. I love nothing more than to watch people cook. It gives me inspiration to get off my butt and whip something up myself. Love how it is shot too, the food looks EPIC!
