Summer Blitzkrieg of TMI
I’ve been having an eventful summer. Too eventful maybe, since it’s making me miss precious hours of internet. So here’s a pictorial of my summer set to the tune of anything from Dirty Dancing.
First up, the Let Live Conference. It was lots of fun and I met lots of cool people and got a picture of Peter Young with my foot. Hot!

Then the strawberries in my garden ripened!

Next, my friends Jim and Evelyn came for a visit and we had a fairytale time. The kind of fairytale that is really creepy and scares children. Look at everything we did!
Seattle! And then the Redwoods!

And seals on the coast!

Them we drove through a forking mountain ON FIRE!

Just to go to Farm Sanctuary! It was worth it.

Then on to San Francisco to meet some friends and..um..eat. A lot.

I finally went to Millenium. It probably deserves it’s own post but it ain’t gonna get it this time. Also worth mentioning: Cha Ya, Udupi Palace, Maggie Mudds (like, 3 times) and the best tiramisu, or anything-misu really, that has ever gone in my mouth at Cafe Gratitude. Positive affirmations be damned.
Then it was back to Portland where my new kitty cat was awaiting me. Meet Kirby!

Now that I’m back home it’s all work work work on the brunch brunch brunch book. I’ll try to get back into the swing of blogging so that I don’t have to crash everyone’s browsers with my manic photo essays next time.

Mmm…those are all the same places I hit up when I go to visit my parents in SF. All so amazing. Especially Millennium and Cha Ya.

Ahhh, there’s my friends at Farm Sanctuary! I’m glad you braved the fires here in CA to come to the sanctuary. I’m sure no one was disappointed! How was the smoke there? All of CA was on fire for a few weeks there…
